Enlightened Engagement

Tomorrow going to jeddah for a month for business. This is the time of hajj. If I have the oppurtinity, then I will perform hajj. I am looking forward for that. It will be certainly an extraordinary experience for me.

I hope to return from jeddah on the first week of February’2007. After that I will try my best to regularly post and update this blog. Until then - bye

My full name is Mohammad Shameem Hasan. The first name Mohammad is very common here in Bangladesh so people usually ignore that (including me !) and everybody loves to call shameem. Thats my nick name. Hasan is not my family name. My family name is Haque. Like Father Fazlul Haque, only Sister Farzana Haque (even brother in law Abdul Haque !). I am the only one in the family who is not a haque or hawk. However I dont mind. They gave me an explanation.
I was born in my grand parents house at a village named  kustia in Manikgonj District just 4 days before the great liberation war  of Bangladesh. I have heard few stories about my mother and my aunties hid me in the jungle when paki army was about to come.

I was born in a very significant day (to me and my mother ofcourse- I was the first boy after consecutive 8 girl in that family !!). It was 21st march. The day of the equinox. Day and night is equal on that day.

Today I have successfully started blogging. though I have installed the wordpress softeware almost 15 days back but due to a unknown reason ( which my webhost didnt bothered to explain) i couldnt properly log on to my site.
