Those are bold and (*) marked are my FAVOURITE because
those are very mature, large community supported, well
documented, easy to deploy,lots of estensions and add-ons.
I have personally tested, I have deployed few in them in
production environment.
Those are simply leaders.

Cascade
Cascade is a Web-based content management system.
It’s based around the idea of organizing resources into a
hierachy of categories, much likeYahoo. Some features
include generating static or dynamic HTML,allowing user
comments on ratings on resources, design abstraction through
templates, suggested addition and update management,
an auto-generated “What’s New” page, support for related
categories and virtual subcategories, and more. It can use
Postgres or MySQL as its SQL database.

Chronicles Online is a web based content management system
which isvery simple to use. Its strength is based on its user
friendliness and flexibility in setting up a web site.
CodeKitty
A content-management system written in Perl. Incorporates
http web server,but can also be run through Apache mod_perl.
Cofax
Released under an Apache-style license, this is the system
used to build the Knight-Ridder newspaper sites. After a long
wait, code is now available fordownload. Based on J2EE,
running under Apache Tomcat and otherJ2ee-compliant app
servers.
Consolo CMS
Consolo is a CMS using a client program enabling the user to
edit contents afavorite program (Photoshop, UltraEdit) and
drag-and-drop contents ontothe web site. Consolo handles
xml, xhml, Flash, databases and more.Developers can modify
Consolo to suit their needs, sell it to their clients and use it for
free.

Contenido is an open source Web Content Management
System. It has separation of content and layout, extensive
administration abilities, is browser-based with auser friendly
interface, has a closed user area, statistics functions,
integration of pictures and PDF formats, and is technically
scalable. MySQL is currently supported, with other databases
to follow. It runs on Linux, Unix, Sun Solaris, and Windows.

Leapfrog Content Management Framework

Magnolia is the free, open source, J2EE deployable content
management system (CMS) developed by obinary. Magnolia is
written in Java and uses the upcoming standard API for
Java-based content repositories (JCR) to access its content.
It has an easy to use web-browser interface, a clear API and a
useful custom tag library for easy templating in JSP and Servlets.
*Mambo open source*
Mambo is a dynamic portal engine/content management tool
capable of building sites from several pages to several thousand.
Mambo uses PHP/MySQL and features a very powerful and
extensive admin manager. Mambo uses a modular framework for
extensibility.
Mason CM
Rudimentary page-management system using the Mason
templating system, based on Apache and mod_perl.
Maxwebportal
Active Server Pages-based portal, calendar, community, and
content management system. Free to download, with commercial
add-ons.
MetaDot Portal Server
Open Source Portal Server software for content management
and virtual community, news and personalisation like My Yahoo.
Include development SDK based on the Open Gizmo
Architecture. Runs on Apache, Perl, mod_perl and
MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle. Commercial support and
consulting provided by MetaDot.com, a Schlumberger company
based in Austin, Texas.
Midgard
A free CMS based on the PHP scripting language.
Minicontent
Minicontent is a small content management system designed for
easy installation, easy administration, and small resource
consumption. It can be run at a standard ISP needing only PHP4 and
MySQL (no root-privileges needed). Minicontent-sites are easily
maintainable using a Web-frontend. Minicontent was originally
built for the construction of www.linuxtag.org.
MySource
MySource is a powerful Open Source CMS used by some of
the worlds largest companies.
N/X Web Content Management System
N/X Content Management System in Version 4.1 features:

NcasterCMS

A rudimentary free CMS. Unlike most others, it doesn’t offer

Xinity R1 is a free and open source PHP-based Content

Great layout and easy administration. ZeusCMS is Open Source

This site is the central point for developers contributing to and
using the CMF. It uses recent versions of the CMF and is thus

storage. It’s completely free and totally customisable, and in

eGrail - Open Source
eGrail Open-Source is a web-content-management-system
based on open-source-components (apache, mysql, php, perl,
linux). It was formerly hosted by http://www.egrail.org. and has
been designed with the business-user in mind.

eZ publish is both an open source content management system
(CMS) and a development framework (CMF). With eZ publish
you can set up all kinds of websites like webshops, intranets,
Image galleries and Forums or you can create your own CMS
system with the framework. You can base your website
development on one of the CMS solutions, or directly on the
Framework. Both ways are possible from the eZ publish
distribution.
